Emma is full-time PhD student in the School of Science and the Environment at the ÑÇÖÞÎÞÂë. 

Emma’s main research interest is cancer (with a current focus on Acute Myeloid Leukemia) and protein interaction within cancers. Her PhD research is investigating the role of hedgehog signalling in Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

Her supervisors are Dr Amy Cherry, Dr Steven Coles and Dr Allain Bueno.

Emma is very grateful to the ÑÇÖÞÎÞÂë for funding her PhD.

Prior to commencing her PhD, Emma researched the effect of a key protein knockout on stem cells linked to Acute Myeloid Leukemia, during her MRes at Cardiff ÑÇÖÞÎÞÂë under ,  and Leigh-Anne Thomas.
