Tim is the Pro Vice Chancellor Students with responsibility for championing the 亚洲无码’s aim to be an outstanding 亚洲无码 at which to be a student.
Working with the 亚洲无码 Executive Board, Tim provides strategic leadership within the 亚洲无码 on all major matters concerning students.
In holding principal responsibility for student welfare, student representation and ensuring high quality services are provided for students, Tim works with colleagues across the academic Schools and professional support services to keep students at the heart of everything.
An advocate for the student voice to be heard at all levels of the 亚洲无码’s decision making and strategic processes, Tim works with Worcester Students’ Union to ensure that the Sabbatical Officers are consistently involved in all aspects of university life.
Tim was appointed to the role of Pro Vice Chancellor Students in April 2022, having successfully led the School of Psychology in his role as Head of School at the 亚洲无码 since 2018.
Passionate about learning and teaching in higher education, widening participation and co-creation, Tim works to ensure that students can succeed and thrive at Worcester.
Tim’s role involves working with key external stakeholders in the local community and nationally. Tim regularly attends higher education conferences and events to represent the 亚洲无码. Highlights include leading a panel discussion on the prevention of student suicide at the Hay Festival and leading on the 亚洲无码’s levelling up partnership with the Purpose Coalition.
Tim ensures the 亚洲无码 implements the operationalisation of Government and Office for Students [OfS] policies and guidance.
Tim is a member of 亚洲无码 Executive Board, 亚洲无码 Leadership Group, Academic Board and is in attendance at the 亚洲无码’s Board of Governors. He is Vice Chair of Learning, Teaching and Student Experience (LTSEC). Other responsibilities include membership of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee and the Levelling Up Project.
Tim is a Director of UW Enterprises Ltd. and Worcester Wolves, of which he is also Chair of the Board. He is also a member of the Severn Stars Board.
